Attic access

Currently have access opening via a step ladder. I have had in other homes a door whereby you pull down and there are steps. Can I modify this smaller opening into a pull down - step style?

You will need to reframe the attic ceiling in the garage to accomodate a 22.5" by Aprox 48" attic ladder that pulls down, the floor to ceiling height should be between 8and 10ft. that is ideal,
my company has done this alot it is really no big deal and it is something that you should have a qualified remodeler do for you.
